I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD," And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah Psalm 32:5

And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, "The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children to the third and the fourth generation." Exodus 34:6,7

prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I confess the generational iniquity, transgression and sin of ___________ on behalf of all my generations on my father’s side and on my mother’s side all the way back to Adam. I purpose and choose to forgive my ancestors for handing down this heritage of sin to me. I cancel their debts and obligations to me. They owe me nothing.

I confess and repent of the sin of ____________ in my life.

Please forgive me, Lord and I purpose and choose to forgive myself and release myself from this generational sin and curse.

In the name of Jesus Christ, and by the power of His blood, I cancel all of satan’s power and authority, programming and assignment over me. I command all the tormentors and unclean spirits that have been assigned to me because of this generational sin and curse to leave me now and never return.

Heavenly Father, I ask You to place the cross of Christ between me and ______ that this will all stop at the cross in Jesus’ name. Please cleanse my conscience with the blood of Jesus Christ from the guilt, shame and dead works that I might serve the living God.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I remove every right of the demonic to afflict me or my descendants because of my sin and the sins of my generations.

Holy Spirit, please come, heal my heart, heal what this has done to my body and tell me Your truth.
