DESCRIPTION

Idolatry is the act of giving anything in our life a higher priority than God.  When we are tempted to seek our satisfaction from a source that is anything other than God, we must put our eyes on Him; repent and pursue godliness. In Him is true peace and contentment

​Matthew 22:37, 38 Jesus said to him, ""You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment.

REPENTANCE PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of the LORD Jesus Christ, I confess and repent for the sin of (specific idolatry) and I break all curses of idolatry in my life and in my generations.  

I ask You to forgive me for going astray after (specific idolatry) in my life.  I purpose and choose to forgive myself and release myself from this and all idolatry.

In the name of the LORD Jesus Christ, and by the power of His blood, I cancel all of satan’s power and authority, programming and assignment over me because God has forgiven me and I have forgiven myself.  It is done and over with.

In the name of the LORD Jesus Christ, I command the sin of idolatry and all accompanying spirits to leave me now.

​Holy Spirit, please come and heal my heart, heal every cell of my body and tell me Your truth.
