Asking for forgiveness
…Please forgive me for not wanting you when I heard that I was pregnant. Will you forgive me for not bonding with you in the womb?
…Will you forgive me for conceiving you out of marriage? It is not your fault—you were not a mistake.
…As my child, I did not hold you to my breast and speak to you and give you the love you needed to feel safe. Will you forgive me?
…Forgive me for being critical of you, always telling you that you can’t do something instead of telling you how you could do all things thru Christ who strengthens you.
Will you forgive me?
…I did not nurture you, hold you or speak words of comfort to you when you were hurt.
Will you forgive me?
…I put my needs before your needs. Will you forgive me?
…Forgive me for raising you with a spirit of fear? Will you forgive me?
…I didn’t let you enjoy just being a child. I didn’t take care of you when you were young forcing you to take on adult responsibilities before should have. Will you forgive me?
… Please forgive me for always wanting you to try harder.
No matter what you did it was not good enough. Please forgive me.
… You felt you had to perform for my love because I did not show you unconditional love.
Will you forgive me?
…I did not protect you from all the fighting in our home. Will you forgive me?
…I did not protect you from the physical violence of bullies or the verbal violence from teachers or other adults in your life. Will you forgive me?
… Please forgive me for telling you the pain you were feeling was not that big of a deal and to just
forget about what happened. Will you forgive me?
…I was controlling to get you to do things my way. Forgive me for controlling your
every action and for setting myself up as god in your life. Will you forgive me?
…Will you forgive me for not modeling what a godly wife and mother should be, for not being vulnerable to you?
…I ask your forgiveness for all the ways I fell short of nurturing you and not being there for you when you needed me. I was wrong and I’m sorry. Will you forgive me?
…Will you forgive me for not telling you every day how much ‘I love you’?
… Above all forgive me for not teaching you about how much Jesus loves you and wants you to be His child. Will you forgive me?
… Please forgive me if I ever told you it was to late. It’s never too late. Will you forgive me?
… If I hurt you in any other way, please take the time now to forgive me.
Mother's Prayer & Blessing
In the name of Jesus Christ, I tell every sickness and disease formed against you, from the enemy, that you cannot prosper in my child’s body and you must leave their body now.
I bless you my child in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, with very physical and spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus.
I am so thankful God gave you to me. I love you.
My child, always remember God loves you and is with you. Nothing can change that.
Always stand in that truth.
You are so valuable; you are never out of the Lord’s sight. He and I will carry you in our hearts always.
My child, the Holy Spirit is making you healthy and strong in body, mind and spirit to move in great faith and every spiritual gift.
Strength and honor are your clothing. You are wrapped in the garment of praise.
My child, Jesus has healed your heart and set you free from anything keeping you bound.
All generational curses from the past are being removed and you are entering the generational blessing of the family of God.
My child, you are chosen by God to love.
So, love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love yourself and then go and love others.
My child, draw near to your Heavenly Father and He will show you many wonderful things.
He will show you how much He loves you. And He will show you how special you are.
He has given you a special work only you can do. He has a purpose for your life that no one can stop. There are those that have tried to tear down that purpose either with their words or deeds but have no fear my child. God’s love will accomplish what He as ordained from the beginning of time.
What others may mean for harm, God will use it for good for the saving of many lives.
You are trustworthy my child; people can count on you for mercy & grace.
You extend kindness to those around you.
My child, the Lord is strengthening your hands to create, build up and comfort.
God has given you a great gift my child, share it.
My child, let the little ones come to you and bless them.
You will be a shield to the little ones God gives you to protect. You will stand between them and the enemy. Always showing them Jesus.
My child there will be trials but don’t meet them in fear. Meet them with faith. The faith that says with confidence – “My God shall supply all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
My child, always chose to forgive. There is nothing you & Jesus can’t forgive.
My child, I pray you bring forth life. Speak powerful words that heal and restore.
Think thoughts of blessing. Pray for those the Father sends you with a heart full of faith.
Remember God’s angels are always with you and are protecting you.
My child, God loves you and wants the very best for you. And so do I.
I am proud of who you have become.
My child, go in the peace and love of the Lord Jesus Christ and be blessed.
Amen.
